Japanese Genmaicha Tea Bags – Green Tea with Roasted Brown Rice (4g x 8pc)
Japanese Genmaicha Tea Bags – Green Tea with Roasted Brown Rice (4g x 8pc)
About this product:
Genmai means roasted brown rice.
Genmaicha is roasted brown rice added to Japanese green tea. Often served with sushi or Japanese restaurants. Most popular in Japanese homes. We have first blended our tea and rice and double milled into a smooth powder. To enhance quality, taste, aroma performance, we have used gyokuro green tea and milled it into powder form.
Gyokuro is the superior of all Japanese sencha green tea, usually not a tea we would use for genmaicha. We have double milled our genmaicha to suit Australian hard water.
Origin: Shizuoka, Japan
Flavour notes: refreshing, popcorn like toasted aroma, middle steamed, emerald glow
Net Weight: 32g (4g x 8pc)
